Canoe Trips In
Missouri Are Fun For The Whole Family
I have family who live in
St. Louis Missouri, and every summer they have us out for a big family
gathering. It is so much fun! We spend all week drinking and reminiscing
about old times and people who are no longer with us. I know it sounds
cheesy, but it is one of the highlights of the year for me. The best
part of the gathering, however, is the end. Every year, we go on
different canoe trips in Missouri
Last year, we went on a canoe trip in the Missouri Ozarks. That was fun,
I can tell you. It might have been the best one yet. Most of it was just
a float trip. The river was very gentle where we were, and required very
little steering. Basically, all we would have to do was to propel the
boats. The canoe trip in Missouri proceeded at a leisurely pace. We
stopped every mile or so for something or other. Either we would let the
kids go swimming, or we would go ashore so that we could spread out a
picnic or a snack. It was not the most exciting one of the canoe trips
in Missouri, but it was one of the best. I have never had such a
relaxing time before!
Of course, the one the year before was almost the opposite.. It was so
adventurous that my Aunt Grace swore that she would never go on another
one of our canoe trips in Missouri after that one. The rapids were so
bad that more than one of the canoes actually capsized! The parents were
scared that it was dangerous, but almost all of the kids loved it. To
them, it was a great adventure. My little nephew, Frank, has even
decided that he will become a professional river guide when he grows up,
leading his own canoe trips in Missouri His parents are not so excited
about the idea.
If you have never been on Missouri canoe trips before, you don't
necessarily have to hire a river guide. One of the great things about
canoe trips in Missouri is how much variety there is. There are
turbulent, dangerous rapids, but there are also gentle, meandering
rivers. As long as you pick the right river for your skill level, I
guarantee that your canoe trip in Missouri will be a success. I know all
mine have been!
